Addressing Financial Toxicity in Cancer Care: The Role of Tumor Boards

Cancer treatment often involves not just physical and emotional challenges but significant financial burdens for patients and their families. Financial toxicity—the strain of high medical costs and out-of-pocket expenses—can directly impact a patient's ability to adhere to treatment plans, leading to worse outcomes.

Notably, he is the cofounder and currently serves as the Chair of the Atrium Health Levine Cancer Financial Toxicity Tumor Board.
