IAFP 2024 Annual Conference Student Poster Competition-NOW OPEN
The Iowa Academy of Family Physicians invites Iowa HOSA students to submit their scientific posters for a chance to win free registration to the Spring Iowa HOSA Conference and a $50 Mastercard gift card!
Selected posters will receive feedback and be judged by family physicians attending the IAFP Annual Conference, held November 7-8, 2024, at the Meadows Event Center at Prairie Meadows in Altoona, Iowa.
General Rules:
Submissions must be completed at this link by the end of the day on Friday, October 11. Selected entries will be notified by Friday, October 18, and video descriptions will be due by Friday, November 1. Winners will be contacted and announced at the IAFP Annual Conference on Friday, November 8.
- Competitors must be active members of Iowa HOSA and in good standing.
- Posters must submitted in .pdf format and able to be printed 48” x 36” (landscape).
- Posters must adhere to HOSA’s 2024-2025 guidelines. A copy of those guidelines are available here.
- Original work completed in the past two years OR in-process posters being submitted at the Spring Iowa HOSA Conference are eligible for submission.
- The Iowa HOSA student(s) must have approval from their school district and/or Iowa HOSA advisor to submit their poster.
- A 2-3 minute video presenting the poster, more details will be shared with selected students and advisors.
