OUR APPROACH

Rural Loan Repayment Program

The Rural Iowa Primary Care Loan Repayment Program was established to address critical doctor shortages in rural Iowa communities. The program provides loan repayment incentives to individuals who practice in specified locations for up to five years. IAFP PAC

The IAFP PAC is IAFP's political action committee (PAC). This voluntary family-run medicine PAC provides Iowa family physicians with a strong voice in the Iowa State Legislature and helps the Academy in its efforts to impact both healthy policy and the overall practice environment.

Volunteer for the IAFP Advocacy Committee

Committee recruitment occurs through calls for volunteers published in the Iowa Family Physicians magazine and through volunteers identified during meetings and communications throughout the year.
